Sara has a plan A, B and C.
As legislative coordinator, Sara brings lobbying, advocacy and administrative expertise to the public affairs team, including Day on the Hill planning, legislative research and policy development, and finding solutions to challenges presented during legislative session. Clients can rely on Sara for day-to-day communication and logistics management whether from our office, in the field or at the Capitol.
Previously, Sara has worked at several nonprofits in policy and advocacy roles, developing innovative legislation, monitoring hearings, crafting legislative updates and facilitating a multitude of legislative meetings. Through this work, she has become a public affairs generalist, able to effectively support legislative and advocacy initiatives at the Capitol for a variety of causes and issue areas.
Sara grew up in the Twin Cities but has spent short stints living and studying in Boston, Washington D.C. and the Netherlands. She will be pursuing a Master in Public Policy at the Hertie School in Berlin beginning this fall.
