A two-award night

Goff Public was honored last night with two awards. The Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce presented the Deubener Award to Goff Public in the “For Profit Service Business” category. Recognizing small, innovative businesses for more than 30 years, this award honors organizations with a strong ethic for community giving and service.

Our pro-bono client, Innocence Project of Minnesota, also honored us with the “Never Forgotten” award. Earlier this year we helped the Innocence Project secure passage of a state law that provides financial compensation to people who were wrongfully convicted of crimes.

Ribbon cut at new Shakopee trail

Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community (SMSC) leaders joined City of Shakopee officials in early November to cut the ribbon on the new Quarry Lake Trail, a half-mile connecting trail made possible in part by a grant from the SMSC. The $100,000 project was part of $366,000 in SMSC grants supporting trail projects in Elko New Market, New Prague, Prior Lake, Savage, and Shakopee.
