2024 Goff Comms Cohort underway

| January 18, 2024

Earlier this month, we hosted our first training session for the 2024 Goff Comms Cohort – our new pro-bono training program for nonprofit and advocacy professionals. This program is part of Goff Public’s ongoing commitment to support nonprofit organizations doing meaningful work in our communities.

The Goff Comms Cohort provides an opportunity for nonprofit professionals to learn directly from the experts at Goff and apply their new skills within their organizations while networking with peers. The first session, led by our public affairs team, focused on advocacy best practices and how to understand and activate allies and supporters.

The cohort of 20 nonprofit leaders will participate in two more training sessions in 2024. These sessions will cover effective communications and storytelling, media relations, and crisis communications strategies and tips.

“The collective good work that these nonprofits are doing in our state is incredible,” said Goff CEO/President Jen Hellman. “Our team is so excited to share our knowledge with these leaders to help them expand and amplify their inspiring missions.”
