Goff Public, a top-ranked, full-service public affairs and public relations firm based in Saint Paul, seeks a full-time lobbyist for its dynamic, growth-oriented public affairs practice.
Successful candidates will have the ability to work effectively on a bipartisan team. This position will be responsible for managing client accounts; developing legislative strategies; on-the-ground lobbying of state and local elected officials and staff; monitoring legislative hearings; writing client communications; advising clients on integrated advocacy and lobbying strategies; and contributing across client teams.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in direct lobbying or legislative work. Strong candidates may exhibit some or all of the following traits and skill sets:
- Ability to thrive in a fluid and collaborative environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask, lead and support projects simultaneously
- Proactive, hardworking and detail-oriented
