Our Approach

We focused on timely, consistent updates in multiple languages that explained planned improvements and the short-term construction impacts people should anticipate. This included:

  • Arranging meetings with stakeholders like local district councils
  • Dropping off doorhangers to residents about upcoming construction impacts
  • Mailing postcards
  • Running advertisements on social media and with local news outlets
  • Hosting public meetings
  • Working with Khoo Consulting to share project information at local community events throughout the year

The Results

Our communications and engagement efforts helped residents, businesses and schools prepare for construction, stay informed about progress, and receive timely information about impacts to their property throughout the two-year construction project.
