Goff Public, a top-ranked full-service communications agency based in Saint Paul, seeks a motivated, self-starter to join our public relations practice. The public relations account executive (AE) is responsible for day-to-day management and execution of client projects and accounts. Candidates should be comfortable working on multiple projects with a variety of clients in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
Duties may include:
• Planning, coordinating and executing the firm’s work for assigned clients
• Writing press releases and op-eds
• Pitching stories to the media; building and nurturing relationships with reporters
• Developing media lists and distributing press releases
• Developing social media content and strategies
• Researching, writing, editing and proofreading materials
• Managing deadlines and working within account teams to contribute ideas and execute tasks
• Monitoring and analyzing media coverage and social media; preparing reports for internal teams or clients
• Developing presentations
• Providing communications and crisis communications advice; creating strategies and plans
• Participating in new business efforts, proposals and pitches
The desired candidate will:

Requirements
• 2-4 years of experience in public relations, communications or related fields
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Demonstrated writing and proofreading skills
• Excellent time management, project management and organizational skills
• Inquisitive, fast learner
• Ability to thrive in a fluid and collaborative environment
