Goff Public Director of Digital Strategy

Goff Public is looking for an experienced digital strategist to join our highly respected public relations and public affairs firm. We are looking for a leader who will expand our digital offerings, build a team and become our in-house expert. This role will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

Who we’re looking for:

• Someone with a strong understanding of relevant social platforms, how brands are engaging on those platforms, and broader trends in the digital space.

• A big thinker who uses creativity and knowledge of emerging digital trends to make public relations and public affairs campaigns more effective.

• A strategist and implementor who can enhance written communications with engaging visuals.

It will be your job to:

• Be our in-house expert on digital platforms, tools and their applicability to our practices.

• Participate in Goff Public strategy meetings.

• Manage digital media plans through all phases of planning, implementation, reporting and analysis.

• Create effective content for digital platforms.

• Develop KPIs for each platform, with a clear path to achieve and track against benchmarks.

• Manage Goff Public’s website.

• Develop and manage relationships with vendors.

• Develop continuous improvement practices.

• Train existing and future team members.

Requirements:

• Proven digital communications experience.

• Growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.

• Extremely strong attention to detail and follow through.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and client interaction.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign.

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

• Must love working as part of a team.

Goff Public Legislative Coordinator

Goff Public is seeking a full-time, year-round coordinator to work with its dynamic government relations team. This role reports to the Vice President of Government Relations, and is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in government relations work within an agency.

Who we’re looking for:

• An experienced project manager with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Someone with a passion for and interest in policy and government relations (though you don’t need experience in these areas).

• Someone who loves details and is energized by working in a fast-paced environment.

• A confident, self-starter.

• Someone who loves being part of a team and contributing to top-quality work.

It will be your job to:

• Provide year-round, full-time administrative support to our state lobbying team.

• Monitor legislative schedules.

• Manage the calendars and schedules of our government relations team.

• Monitor legislative hearings.

• Attend and monitor press conferences.

• Track issues on social media.

• Track legislation.

• Draft political updates and client reports.

• Conduct research.

• Write clear and concise updates for clients and team.

Requirements:

• Proven project management experience.

• Highly professional demeanor.

• Extremely strong attention to detail and follow through.

• Ability to meet deadlines and deliver top-quality work.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to learn other platforms and tools.
