Goff Public is providing pro-bono assistance to the Minnesota Innocence Project to help pass a bill that would compensate Minnesotans who were wrongfully convicted and imprisoned for crimes they did not commit. News coverage of the proposed bill is becoming more widespread as it gains momentum at the Capitol. For example, bill co-author Rep. John Lesch was recently interviewed on MSNBC to discuss why it’s important that Minnesota join the majority of states that already have compensation statutes in place.
