Kristian grew up in and around Minnesota politics.

As a legislative assistant this session, Kristian is integral to ensuring the government relations team serves our clients efficiently and effectively. Through monitoring hearings, tracking legislation, and juggling schedules, Kristian supports our clients and our team throughout the hustle and bustle at the Capitol.

In his previous role with the Minnesota Senate DFL, Kristian led the organizing and voter outreach efforts in Senate District 58. Prior to this, he spent time as an intern in the Office of Governor Mark Dayton, the U.S. Senate and the Minnesota State Senate. In 2018, he worked as the senior news editor of his college newspaper, covering local politics and elections in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood.

Kristian grew up in the Victory neighborhood of Minneapolis. He enjoys playing pond hockey, hiking and biking around the city. He now lives in Golden Valley.
