Does your website need a makeover?

The adage “You never get a second chance to make a first impression” is perhaps even more true in the 21st century, when attention spans are shorter than ever. Your website is likely the source of many first impressions.

While websites used to serve as clearinghouses for information, they now need to be clear, concise and memorable. Modern designs are clean, crisp and visually engaging.

Consider your analytics and choose a design that works best on the devices people use to access your website. For example, if most people access your site through a cellphone or tablet, consider a one-page, mobile-first design.

Website technology and designs are constantly changing – make it a priority to refresh and update your site every three years. This year, we took our own advice to heart and redesigned the Goff Public website. We hope you like it!
