Getting results from your 2017 announcements

Whether you’re planning an acquisition, a new campaign, or other major initiative, getting the best results from your announcement will depend on the strength of your strategy. Goff Public has several tips to help you prepare, and we are always just a phone call away:

Consider external events before scheduling your announcement. If you want your news to become a headline, avoid days preceding a holiday, legislative committee deadlines, and other competing occasions.

Determine the order in which to communicate with your internal and external audiences. You likely will want your employees to know before the news media and elected officials.

Consider a variety of communications tactics, and get creative.

Develop a plan in case your news is leaked ahead of time, and consider preparing a media statement for that scenario.

Higher Ground Saint Paul opens
