Pierre Willette

Account Executive
Lobbyist

Pierre is a seasoned public affairs and community relations strategist with more than 20 years of experience.

Well-known for his expertise in the areas of local government finance, policy, public safety, public infrastructure, community development, and regulatory affairs, Pierre has successfully led legislative, local government, state agency, community, and federal governmental relations initiatives. He has secured millions of dollars in bonding; analyzed the impact of tax and other complex policy issues; and forged strong partnerships with business, civic and community leaders.

Prior to working at Goff Public, Pierre led the University of Minnesota Foundation Real Estate Advisors’ community development and relations efforts, earning the trust and respect of neighborhood, city and university leaders. He also worked for the City of Minneapolis in several capacities for 20 years, including nine years representing the city at the State Capitol.

The hectic hallways of the Capitol are no match for Pierre’s busy life with his four children. A small-town Minnesota native and 25-year resident of Minneapolis, Pierre likes to bike and run both sides of the Mississippi River and spend time at the latest movie with his Saint Paul-born spouse.
